What's new in each release of LeadMuse. (Looking for BassMuse, PianoMuse or RhythmMuse?)
Version 1.0.0 — beta
Added
- Single-note lead & solo guitar. LeadMuse plays a monophonic lead line over your chord progression, locked to your transport — a melody you can drop onto any guitar VSTi. It's the fourth member of the Muse family and shares their arranger: sections, a chord grid, meters, and MIDI drag-out.
- Real MIDI expression. Held notes bend up a whole step and settle (channel pitch-bend), and longer notes get a vibrato swell (CC1) — proper, VSTi-tuned expression rather than fixed velocities. Everything is released cleanly so a bend never hangs, and it exports to the dropped MIDI file as well as playing live.
- A Role for every part. A Role control sets how much the line plays: Off (silent, but placed licks still fire), Lead: Low / Med / High (a chord-anchored melody of rising complexity — one note per chord up to a note on every beat), and Solo (a busy, free-phrasing lead). Set it per section, or override it on a single bar.
- Lick markers, per bar and per beat. Drop a placed lead phrase exactly where you want one — on a whole bar or on a specific beat — at Light, Medium or Heavy intensity. A lick on the last beat is the classic run into the change. (Licks take the place of the Fill marker from the other plugins.)
- The full per-bar override stack. Everything the other Muse plugins learned: per-bar and per-chord style overrides (an override bar plays that player's own feel), per-bar feel editing, per-bar variation takes, and mute — all compose with Role and Licks.
- Ten lead styles. Blues, slide, acid rock, hard rock, shred, Latin rock, country, funk, rock'n'roll — plus a lyrical cello voice — each with its own register, phrasing, and bend/vibrato character. Feel dials for Density, Swing, Humanize, Ring, Bend, Vibrato and Runs shape the line further.
- Built-in Preview through the same three audition guitars as RhythmMuse, and cross-product songs — LeadMuse opens BassMuse, PianoMuse and RhythmMuse arrangements, since every Muse plugin shares one song format.
